Keaton's Story

On November 17th, 2021 I went in for what I thought were UTI symptoms. Little did I know I'd be leaving my doctors office calling my husband telling him I lost our baby. 

My doctor went to check on baby, I was 16 weeks and 2 days, she couldn't find a heart beat. My husband was at home with our two other kids due to COVID. My doctors office doesn't allow spouses, so I had to hear all this information alone while also trying to process what had just happened. 

Around one o'clock that day we headed to the hospital where I would deliver our son. I delivered him at eleven o'clock p.m. on November 17th. Instead of bringing our beautiful son home we left empty handed, and the funeral home came and picked up our baby. 

Never did I think at 25 I would have to bury my baby and continually have to try to explain to my three year old why mommy no longer had a baby in her belly.
